Make Things Move • 2/20
< | >
This presentation focuses on the integration of tactile, digital, and motion design as it relates to traditional, analog 2D foundation projects.
Premise: Students see more clearly the relationship between static, hands-on works of 2D design and motion-based art if the two are presented and created together.
Showing examples of works in motion is key to the process.
> William Kentridge: Anything Is Possible.
> Hillman Curtis: Flash Motion Design.
> Motionographer: Cream.
No advanced techniques of motion design are implemented.
> Simple Tweening in Flash: Flash CS5.
Only the most basic techniques of motion design in Flash are used.
Students expand their techniques as needed.
