Instructing students in the growing graphic design program. Courses include interactive and motion graphics, intro and advanced web design, print and graphic design, digital imaging, typography, packaging design. Selected student projects include: web ads for the Utah Summer Games, website design for Cedar Breaks National Monument, and "Bird's Eye View" project with the Southwest Wildlife Foundation.

Instructed students in Graphic Design II, focusing both on type-in-motion, audio, and time-based graphic design using Macromedia Flash and print typography using InDesign. Researched and designed a new teaching module that focused on type-in-motion and audio.

Graphic Designer (Print and Digital)

Responsibilities included: concepting and designing visual communication pieces for print and digital media, from annual reports, books, and identity collateral to newsletters and invitations; determining production specifications for print pieces, working with printers and vendors; designing websites and interactive new media modules. Responsible for original photography and the art direction of freelance photographers for many projects.

Responsibilities included: concepting and designing book covers and interior layouts for Yale University Press, Ohio University Press, and University of Hawaii Press, among others; concepting and designing marketing materials for local and regional clients, including Bloomington Hospital, John Waldron Arts Center, and Strategic Development Group.
